This piece started out upside down. The blue was on the bottom and the green was on the top. The more I worked with it the more the man in blue wanted to rise to the top. So there he is. He is the new man, but not without scars and deep wounds. He reminds me, even though we carry within us a frail, scarred humanity, in Christ we are a new creation.
